There is a conversation going on over at BS about Iker yelling at his defenders (he went OFF on Guti on Sunday about a set piece and it was all over the newspapers--pretty funny). One of the regulars is arguing that Iker's rage is going too far; he blames his teammates as if they have scored the goals themselves and never takes any of the blame for himself. He posed the question "Did any of the defenders ever yell at him, like ever?" The response (no, not by me or floh): "I saw Cannavaro yell at him plenty. But i NEVER saw Iker yell at Fabio. You know the Italian captain don't take no shit."
Hee. We know why he took it. In fact, Iker LIKED it!

But - didn't Canna say that at first he and his bf didn't get along because Iker would always blame his defenders? And I saw Iker yell at Canna... But that was foreplay, I suppose. *g*
Yes, that's true. But I can't go in there an explain it to them: "Iker yelled at Canna at first, but then he realized that if he ever wanted a piece of that, he needed to stop. They started dating and Iker eventually realized that sometimes he liked it when Canna yelled at him instead of the other way around. But no one else is allowed to, obviously."

Well, what footballer do we know (and love and adore), who is very happily married to a lovely normal woman, might have suggested to his good friend and former teammate Iker after he broke up with Eva that instead of dating models and television personalities who liked to talk about their sex lives everywhere and anywhere, that perhaps he should date a nice girl with a normal job?
She's not a model or a television presenter. She has a job at a company not owned by her daddy. She's pretty, but doesn't have perfect looks like Eva. That's as close to normal as Iker is going to get. (When would he ever meet a really normal girl?)
It's a first step into the right direction. If he marries the girl who cleans the closet in his favourite club/bar/restaurant he'll be my hero. Am I asking too much? Yes? :D
