Go forth and tell me how much butt I kick:
flickr riffic! Today I forgot my student I.D (which is also my bus pass) in the jeans I was wearing last week instead of in my coat as usual. I noticed this as I was in the parking lot of my building, so I ran upstairs and looted through the pants in my hamper, found the illusive I.D, and quickly shuffled to the bus stop situated two blocks away. I made it there at 11:00. The bus leaves at 10:58. So I started walking! In the fall I rode my bike to school most days, and I don't remember it being so tough. Granted, I took a more direct route there rather than stopping by the bus stop first and I wouldn't have had sore legs from yoga the night before, but man oh man are my legs ever killing me! I think it would have been better if I didn't go from walking 3km to immediately sitting still for an hour and a half, ah well!
I'm really enjoying yoga. It's actually hard work, which I wasn't expecting, while still being relaxing. Also, I've got Martina in my class, which is nice. Not only do I have someone familiar to partner up with, but we actually get to see each other at least once a week!
Speaking... er.. typing.. of people I never get to see anymore, I spent almost all of Monday with Robbie, which was really nice. I miss you Robbie!! Hang out with me more!!! We ate sushi, went shopping for VERY HEALTHY food, played video games with the twins, then watched a couple episodes of Cowboy Bebop (an awesome show, by the way).
Gahhh, my fingers aren't typing well anymore.
I went to Calories with Beth and Marti this evening, then we came back to my house and just talked, which was also super fun! I miss hanging out with you guys, although I should probably head back into my little larnin' bubble as I have a crazy amount of reading to do before my two midterms on Feb. 5th. Yes, I have two midterms on the same day! One right after the other!! YAY!!!! *stab*
EDIT
Oh yeah, on the way home from school, I took the bus. Now, the bus that comes at 4:09 is always killer packed full of people and the bus at 4:39 is always really empty. I was slow getting out of class, so I ended up on the later bus. I was one of the first people on and I plopped down on one of the empty seats. Then this guy gets on. The bus is still fairly empty, with people taking two seats to themselves and there still being whole benches open, but this guy comes and sits right next to me. And I mean RIGHT next to me! I'm squished into the window. He has a bad odour, and doesn't try and stop himself from squishing into me as the bus turns corners. When we hit my stop, he won't move and I've got to say "excuse me... excuse me!!" a few times before he goes "uh?" and gets up. Gahhh, whyyy do people do this? I can understand if the bus is full personal space has to be tossed aside, but it wasn't even close!!!!!!! Weird.
