warped tour
i ended up going to warped tour alone yesterday. i found out that i could take the metra to tinley park and then take a taxi to the venue, well, at least that's what the person said when i called tweeter center information for directions.
however, when i got off at the tinley park stop, there were no cabs anywhere......
so i walked, for an hour to an hour and a half, all the way to the tweeter center.
i was not too happy about this, but at least i got there, and a few other people from the train were also walking, so that was somewhat comforting. if it was just me, i would probably still be lost out there somewhere, haha.
other than that, a slight sunburn, and an overpriced lunch, the rest of the day went pretty well.
i saw my chemical romance, fall out boy, emery, senses fail, thrice, the transplants (amazing), the starting line, and avenged sevenfold.
i missed a lot of bands i wanted to see, since i got there so late, but i'm glad i decided to go (even if it was a little lonely) instead of just letting my ticket go to waste.
