THATS SO COOL(for me).
beyond that, i had a really good time with a friend last night. His name is paul and i jsut kinda got to know him while being here. Most people are generally happy we ment because of our mutual love and ability to create noise people actually enjoy. So last night he and i are drinking and we get to shooting the shit, and i mention in pass that his mom looked like my mother, and he suddenly remembered something....
see, paul had a rough time at one point and ended up in the hospital(depression related). this is backstory. so he suddenly goes "i met your mom! she and i taked about noise and guitars and stuff. It was one of the 2 days that stand out in those weeks of hell. I said to her "I play noise guitar" and her reply was "you should meet my son, you would probably really like him. He does the same thing."
that is better then hearing another "i'm sorry" or whatever. the things i now treasure is how people were influenced by her. I'd rather hear a story about her life, her making someones day, then anything else.
I wish i had a log of a msn convo between my roommate and myself. I really want to post it.
