I've come to accept Thursday nights as my one night of the week where I can really have a social life.
I really enjoy going to the grind, and watching people interact, looking at people's clothing, and listening to conversations.
Even if there's nothing interesting going on directly involving me, I still tend to have quite a bit of fun.
So when I found out I wouldn't be going tonight, I was almost sad.
Almost.
We had tickets for a Paul McCartney concert that we thought was on Wednesday the 2nd (yesterday), but it was actually today, the 3rd.
I was kinda bummed at not being able to go to the grind tonight, especially since I have a new boobaliscious shirt that I wanted to wear.
But hearing roughly 14,000 people sing "Hey Jude", and being there to hear Paul sing "Let it Be", and "Blackbird"...
Those three songs brought tears to my eyes.
It was well worth it.
I think that was the best concert I've ever been to, closely followed by the Rolling Stones concert that was on October 30th.
I still can't wipe the smile off my face, or completely clear my eyes of tears. It was just such an amazing experience...
I hope that everybody feels this way sometime in their lives. Everybody should feel this good for at least a little while.
I love you all, have a wonderful evening (or morning, or day, or whenever you happen to read this...)
Peace
