Well, I have the final Harry Potter Book now. Alisha, Danny, Kathleen, and I went to Barnes & Noble for the release party down in U Village. It was pretty crazy, there were a ton of people, but that was to be expected. Danny wore my old grim reaper costume to look like a dementor, and I wore a vampire cape to look like a wizard, and walked around with the broom James had used for his Halloween costume.
We went to the opening night of the Order of the Phoenix the other week too. The movie opening wasn’t as crazy as I thought it would be, which was kind of nice. We ended up with a group of about 10 people going, and were all able to sit in the same row.
Other than Harry Potter stuff, Joey and I took a nice camping trip last weekend. We went out to the eastern side of the Cascades, not too far from Mt. Rainier. The weather was perfect, and we found the best camping spot ever. It was away from all the other sites, and was right on the American River. We did some polar bear swimming in the freezing cold water, hiked around a bit, and enjoyed nature and it’s solitude.
