I think we finally have internet! (Sort of…) After many months of sporadic signals and way too many visits from Comcast technicians, we have internet that only craps out very seldomy.
Let’s see, what else has happened…
Last Friday we went to a fun little party at Joe J.’s place, and got to meet some cool new people. A few of us continued on to the club after that and I ran into some old friends (like Jordan, David, and Troy), which was good and not so good at the same time.
Saturday wasn’t too exciting until we decided to play strip-Mario Kart. Sadly I found that I can’t play very well when I’ve been drinking… so I lost clothes much faster than everyone else…
Monday I was back at the aquarium. Valentine’s Day is really big at the aquarium because it’s when they let the giant octopuses mate. Everything was ready to go till the female decided to get out of her tank on Sunday night and they couldn’t find her in time. It was pretty sad; some people that worked there were talking about how much they cried… I didn’t, but I guess I wasn’t as close to her as some people.
Anyways, while I was volunteering, I made some effort to talk to this cute gay couple. We chatted for a bit and then they invited me to get some wine with them when I was done. After some debate I decided I might as well, and we ended up going to this really fancy place called the Purple Café. They had come out from Montana for the weekend and were headed back that night. They were nice people, so I was glad that I got to meet them.
Valentine’s Day on Wednesday wasn’t very eventful, just kinda hung around, which was fine by me.
I forgot to mention that during these day I was been sick, and had two midterms, so I wasn’t exactly feeling the best, but that’s just how it goes.
