Literary literally.

Hmmm, all this talk of books and damaged pages made me think of a book I only pull out very seldom, for the effect of coming to it anew and fresh. Other than that it's hidden away, because the images are potent, and because it's my Secret Book.

The Secret Books is what got me into reading Jorge Luis Borges...highly inspiring for certain things. The description of Reader's library made me think of the infinite library-universe on one of Borges' stories. The books also remind me of Puzzlebox's essential literary qualities. Both in theme and literally...being entirely composed of words itself. Something along that theme could be interesting....like a book that describes the Mess, or a book that is in itself another world. Like the theories and background in the Myst world.

I could imagine such volumes or imagery in Strange's library...maybe. Some of them are not twisted but beautiful. Maybe they would belong in the Museum Library as art hanging on the wall. Or another repository elsewhere. Hm. I've been pondering building on Topwarp, next.
