My new home

So...there are many of you who have inquired about my new abode. There are also those I have been meaning to call, but simply can not because I am still rather homeless.
I'm just updating y'all quickly, for those who care, and want to offer sympathy.
We moved on the 1st, into the biggest shit hole you could ever imagine. Black mold, holes in the wall, mice, rats, telephone jacks so old and rotted that you can't hook phones up in the apartment. So, we are getting out of our lease. This is proving to be quite the headache, and an excellent source of stress and stomach pains. The good news is that Rebecca and I have found a new place. It is absolutely gorgeous, the place of our dreams! We wanted it from the moment we saw it but didn't think we stood a chance since so many others were also viewing it. Somehow (probably due to our charm and beauty) we got the place. We sign the lease on Tuesday and move in October 1st, which I expect will be one of the happiest days of my life. Now we just have to work on getting out of our lease and *maybe* getting our money back. Our new place is at St Clair and Spadina, perfect distance from both school and downtown/friends/concerts. Plus, it is right near the best Loblaws in Toronto!
Maybe we shall have a martini party when we move in.....
So, until then, if you need/want to call me, call my cell. I unfortunately can't call you if it is long distance, as my cell phone is expensive for that, and I don't have a home phone, as I don't have a phone. I will be staying with my cousin, Jonathan for the time being, who is also helping us out of this kerfuffle and is all around an excellent guy.
For those of you far away, I miss you. For those of you near me, I love you guys, thanks for keeping me smiling throughout this stress.
