Long time no... write? Yeah, sorry about that.
It's already mid-October! Hahaha, I'm lame. So let's head to my ol' reliable update-lists because it's easier. Sorry to say that it won't be in chronological order because I'm crap at keeping proper track:
National week was alright, though sadly a bust when EVERYONE IS HAVING VACATION AT THE SAME TIME. Even going as far as Dandong (about an hour from here) wasn't safe enough; people were just everywhere. So we spent the remainder of the holiday back here in Fengcheng. And at the very least, I saw Hei Hei's new babies! ^.^ Sam kept calling her a country slut and... well, that's true XDDD but oh, well. New dog babies! Also during that week, Sam's cousin had a baby in Qingdao (?) so her mom who usually stays with their grandparents here in the countryside area had to stay with her there. And Sam's dad currently is taking care of them for the past 4-5 weeks.
I've been more cranky and in a loner phase but turned out they're common "symptoms" of culture shock. I cannot say for sure because I was like this even before I went to China. XD I do talk to the teachers and students a lot more than I used to so it's not like I'm not trying. Language-wise is too hard for me >_<. Only my hearing has improved the most.
I lost the most advanced adult classes because they don't like the idea of paying in advance to have any classes. It was quickly replaced with private tutoring shortly.
My music binge went crazy when I figured out how to convert hosted vids to songs. I even found OST's I've been searching for for over a decade. And finally FINALLY got into Nujabes that wasn't just Samurai Champloo. They make mere walks after work more nice. 8D It's finally toning down... until I find/remember other artists to search for. Finding random stuff like Jazz versions of Studio Ghibli OSTs and Jerkin' remixes of Spongebob was... interesting. XD Catchy though.
Managed to get a bank card renewal even though they made a big stink about me losing it/leaving it behind in the states. I guess here it's a major rarity to lose their bank card since it's like a major HAHAHA WHO'D BE STUPID ENOUGH TO LOSE SOMETHING THAT IMPORTA--oh hi there. Anyway, card is back, so yay.
Caught up on Legend of Korra Season 2, 5th Season of Glee, and Once Upon a Time (is it 3rd?). And there's another sub-category of Once Upon a Time, Wonderland, but it was just blah. Eska cracks me up in Korra and hearing random Bolin shrieks makes my day. xD Korra is still being a hot headed dumbass. >_< I mean, I know she's supposed to be a hot-headed physical type and I want to like her, but she keeps acting stupid. Kind of a shame that the airbender family sorta just hangs out on their island while shit hits the fan again this season. As for Glee, I started fast-forwarding the singing segments just to get through the story. It was cute for the first 2-3 seasons, but it gets grating when you just wanna get to the story. And I'm hating Tina more and more. I know they're trying to make her seem like she's more than the quiet Asian American (which went on during season 2 or 3 I stopped caring), but she doesn't have to be a self-centered, demanding bitch in the process. It was awesome when the Carrie remake happened to her at the prom though. X) With Once Upon a Time, like Glee, I just want to finish the story and tend to do 5 other things while watching it. xD; Only Legend of Korra I will sit still to watch, but barely whenever Korra does something careless.
Also trying to catch up in Gash Bell but I forgot where exactly I left off so have to start all over from ep 1 again. Man. But potential fan art this time?
Speaking of arts, I started cracking down on my story for ONCE LMAO. But I have to make character revamps due to mainstream anybody stealing my original concepts O_O. Already 2 characters got swiped. ~_~ Though I did snag Oni's hair a bit for Trent, so who's keeping count. But to actually write out the story was pretty awesome, where the characters so far develop on their own? The most difficult would be Trent since I could never figure out her deal. Still working on it. I did draw sketches of 2 OCs thus far, yay!
Bought a bunch of art stuffs and barely touched them. >___< I'm trying though. The few I did use are pretty okay.
So yeah. There ya have it. Oh I did manage to catch up with 2 friends so that was pretty awesome.
