I was very sorry to read about your father. I was moved by your telling of your journey up the hill, and the sparkly plastic that wrapped the flowers. Funny how sometimes things happen that you could interpret as signs... I find them very reassuring, while the rational part of my mind tells me that I'm just clinging to coincidences and giving them sentimental meaning... and there's something I must write about.
Shall have to do something with my pots and compost soon (no hanging baskets for me, not yet anyway). Always surprises me when I find out who knows who else on my LJ friends list... I'm going to be in London a couple of days next month, though not for long - do you and Dave want to meet up at some point? And seeing as I'm using liquefactionist's LJ to do all this, I'm going to be at the Cleethorpes Damned gig - see you there (though I really should visit you sometime soon, to see your garden for myself - confused about the lockable back door though, could it not be locked before?)
