I can't believe that Lost is a rerun tonight. The preview last week frigging convinced me that we'd get a new one but nooooo, it's a rerun. La di freakin' da.
Had an interminable dinner with the Mum last night. The Da was out of town and she was feeling lonely so I went over to give her some company as well as put the Pup out (she has some difficulties with the chain and stuff). For some reason she thinks I'm depressed. Ummm, I don't feel depressed, wonder how I gave her that impression.
Anyhoodle, got home after that only to find Boomtown sitting in front of my door. OMG! you guys! It's one of the greatest television shows I've ever seen and you all must watch it. This is one of those great shows that come and go in the blink of an eye that most people miss out on. The writing and acting and direction and production are all of the highest quality, the stories are engaging and gut-wrenching and will stick with you for long after the episode fades to black. Seriously, find it, rent it, love it. I promise you won't be disappointed.
For all who may be interested, David Duchovny will be on some talk shows this week. Tonight he's on Letterman and tomorrow he'll be on both The Daily Show and Conan O'Brien. Good times.
Am currently spending a lazy summer day by the banks of the Mississippi laughing at Tom Sawyer's boyish antics. There's a tree over there that needs a good climbing. *runs off*
