No school today! It's freezing rain and thundering outside, so they went ahead and called it off. I think every kid in my school loves our new superintendent because he has called off school more times for ice or snow this year than our old one ever did. Which is awesome. Except I was already up and had washed my face when my mom told me, so now I can't go back to sleep. :(

I went tanning yesterday and I got burned a little bit all over except for my face and my sides, which got nothing, so I have like a white stripe going down the sides of my body, haha. But the burned parts are radiating heat like crazy so at least I'm warm!

My new phone is sweet. I set my alarm clock on it to wake me up to Steve Holy's Good Morning Beautiful, haha. It makes me happy in the morning, anyway.

And I got my Supernatural! ITunes is wonderful. And Dean is hilarious. I love you, Jensen Ackles. You are brilliant. And so was Sam's bitchface.

I can't stop watching Hannibal Rising. It's ridiculous. I've watched it four times this week. And since I don't have school I'll be watching it again today. Don't get me wrong, I hate gory movies. I can't watch any of the Saws, Hostel, Tourista, any of it. But HR doesn't have a lot of that, to be honest. It's got a lot of slashing, and decapitated heads. But it doesn't show the decapitation. Mostly it just shows Hannibal's reaction. Or nonreaction, really. It never shows him eating anybody or anything. Which means I don't get freaked out too often and I can watch it without peaking through my fingers and I LOVE IT. I love every one of Hannibal's smartass lines, his facial expressions, his accent that makes him say every word so delicately, everything. Mostly I love Gaspard, for playing Hannibal so brilliantly. I haven't seen Silence of the Lambs, so I can't compare him to Anthony Hopkins like everyone else has, but he's exactly how I pictured the book. The only thing I don't like is that they left out some parts that would have explained things better - I watched it with Erica the first time because I was a little freaked to watch it by myself and I kept pausing and explaining stuff because she gets easily confused during movies. But I guess that was for time, more than anything, because it's already over two hours. This is actually the first time I've liked the movie more than the book.

So now I think I'm gonna bake some cookies! I know, it's 7:30 AM. But the cookie craving waits for no woman.
