You're not silly at all, I feel exactly the same. I remember my first year at uni in all details and then it's just a blur. Like I can't imagine I've been with Alex for 4 years now and you visited during our first year, that was a lifetime ago, it feels. In a way I'm very happy to be at college now, that saves me a little time before things are getting serious and I have to look for a full-time job and all that.
But apart from that, college is HORRIBLE!!!! I HATE it!!!!! URGH!!!! It makes me want to scream, in a bad way. Go here to read just how unbearable it is. Really, you don't have any freedom at all, you can't choose your courses, you're stuck with the same people for 2 years (luckily the girls are very sweet), if you miss school for more than 2 days, you have to get a doctor's note and even then they are going to harrass you with bureaucratic crap if you're missing "too often". I hate it. hatehatehate it and in the last 2.5 months I've been there I thought about leaving so so many times but I don't have another idea and actually i do want that diploma so I just have to get over it and get used to it somehow.
I'm at college to study French and English to become a translator/ Interpreter. Sounds cool actually, doesn't it? Truth is, I hate French. I'm not very good at French (esp. not in oral) and the worst is: I don't have the motivaion to change anything. I talk the way I talk, you know? I don't give a shit about articles. As soon as I've said the words I forget them so there isn't even a reason to tell me to pay attention to articles because I'm not here to listen to myself. I KNOW what gender the nouns are and what article i SHOULD use but I just want to communicate which doesn't leave me the time to think 2 seconds about each word. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! Hate it.

Btw, I did integrate gmail into imail so both accounts are fine now :) Yes christmas shopping is always boring but even worse if it's actually close to christmas, all these people flooding the stores are driving me insane!! Really bad time of the year right now, in every sense!
