incidentally, the woman pictured from behind is none other than the famed
caroline jones. i think i experienced something close to a geek outage when she smiled at me.
starbucks at circular quay. it was raining buckets by the time we left the event, so out of desperation we -- already soaked up to our knees by this point-- ducked in for cover. i've never been to a local starbucks before*, so i stood around gaping at the price of a mocha -- over $4? wtf? -- before getting one and then regretting it as it predictably tasted like shite.
*i was forcibly taken to one, countless times, during my recent visit to singapore -- but that's another story for another time.
