my three faves so far from the post secret book...
the most important thing i realized today is that painful breakups, unrequited love, shitty jobs and the like help us to BUILD CHARACTER and that no matter how bad it feels, we are much better off because of it.
my boyfriend and i knew we had to do something important or else our relationship would fall apart. so we took markers and wrote our deepest secrets on each other's backs. i never read his secrets and he never read mine but the perilousness of such close contact between us and the other's demons was what we needed to save our relationship.
