Eco Lips and Mostly Memories reviews
If anyone still reads this community...here are some reviews. (I recently bought some Yankee Candle lip balms, so I should be reviewing those sometime this year as well.)

Name: Dagoba Mint Chocolate Lip Balm
Color: Brown, goes on clear
Scent: Like an Andes mint in the tube, but fades to a mostly minty smell on the lips. That soon fades on the lips as well.
Taste: None, no sweetness either
Texture: Smooth, not waxy or greasy. Not too thin or thick. Pretty nice, actually.
Packaging: Tube (0.15 oz)

Repurchase?: I would have to think about repurchasing. I'm not too sure at this point. This has one of the strongest cooling effects on the lips that I've ever experienced. I happen to love that, which makes this balm a lot better. I am disappointed by the quick disappearance of the scent, though. And a touch of stevia would make this balm a lot more delicious. But the overall quality of the balm is high. It's not the most moisturizing balm for super dry and chapped lips, but it's fine if you don't have those issues a lot.

Scent: It's been a while since I've had this chocolate, but I think it's pretty accurate. Blueberries and lavender with hint of chocolate in the tube, but fades to a slight lavender smell on the lips. After a short while it's pretty much scentless.
Taste: None, no sweetness either
Texture: Smooth, not waxy or greasy. Not too thin or thick. Pretty nice, actually.

Repurchase?: I would have to think about repurchasing. I'm not too sure at this point. The balm itself is great quality and all, but I was hoping for more from the flavor. I'm not getting too much of a chocolate vibe from this one, and no sweetness/dessert-like qualities, either. This balm does seem to be relatively moisturizing, though it might not be best for super dry or chapped lips. And I love that the organic ingredients are things I can actually pronounce. Maybe if I found this balm for a cheap price I would pick it up again.

Scent: Mostly lemongrass and ginger, with maybe a hint of coconut. Kinda like flavored Asian rice or something.
Taste: Maybe a hint of citrus, but nothing to speak of
Texture: Smooth and all that, but a little drier, waxier, and thinner feeling than the Dagoba ones.

Repurchase?: No, this scent isn't my favorite. Sometimes it's really refreshing and nice, but overall it's not something I would normally pick. I might look into the Spiced Orange flavor next time. The packaging is really nice, as are the ingredients. I think this balm is fairly moisturizing, though it might not be enough for extremely dry and chapped lips. People with thin lips may have a harder time using this bigger balm.

Color: Brown, goes on relatively clear
Scent: Chocolatey, though a touch fake
Taste: Sweet, maybe a tiny bit like cheap milk chocolate. I actually like that this one tastes somewhat decent; it's hard to find that in a lip balm with natural ingredients.
Texture: Smooth. Somehow not sticky, dry, waxy or oily at all.

Repurchase?: Yes, this balm actually has chocolate ingredients in it (cacao, cocoa butter, ethyl vanillin [vanilla flavoring used for some actual chocolates], stevia [sweetener]), so it does give off more of a chocolatey vibe. It does seem to be a little moisturizing. The price isn't bad considering that the ingredients are natural and petrochemical free. The label is nice to look at. There are a number of other "real" chocolate balms out there, so I'll probably try those before repurchasing this one, though.

Repurchase?: No, I think I have an allergic reaction to this balm. When I put this balm on my lips, they tingle, then sting, then turn sort of numb. I've heard of raspberry flavored balms doing that sometimes, so I think it's the raspberry flavor oil in here. On the plus side, the price, label and ingredients overall are nice. I'm sure this would be a nice balm for someone who doesn't have a sensitivity to the ingredients.
