Today was fun. Tom and I went to this Old People Fest at Centennial Park. And that just spells good time. There was this Kiwanis picnic dealy so both of my grandfathers went and we tagged along. No one was there when we got there so Tom and I went for a walk around the lake. I saw Danya's mom walking some dog. It must be a new one, because it was a little...livlier than I expected. Apparently I was spotted later in the day by Danya's mom, but I wasn't sure if it was her or not. Danya, I think you should start going places with your mother. Maybe we'll see each other someday. And we can jam. Anywoo, it took us an hour to get around the whole thing. We ate when we got back, and food was good. My grandfather saved my life 18 times. He killed 18 yellow jackets. Tom and I walked around again and rented a paddle boat. I felt so cool because you had to have someone 16 years or older on the boat at all times. Some people say 18 is the age to be, some people say 21. I say..screw the cigarettes, screw the beer. I can rent a paddle boat! I guess we were out for about an hour. I got a lily pad flower out of the deal, we disturbed some geese, and returned the boat. We went to a playground to sit for a while. There were children EVERYWHERE! I was like "what is this?" So we returned to the Festival of the Elderly, and a what a festival it was! We talked about blood pressure and other hot topics. It was definatly the place to be.
