I do so love how use of \tt (including via \url macros) makes LaTeX's layout algorithm suddenly dose up on hard drugs. Having to babysit under/overfull hboxes by playing "override the hyphenation points" is the kind of nonsense that I should only be having to deal with when using freaking Word.
No, Nick, I'm not spending hours on it. I'm just venting before I give up and hope it shuffles back into place by the time the text is final. If not, it'll have to be a \\ hack.
