IC- general interaction post

Aug 19, 1998 22:27

[Peter's in the kitchen, searching the fridge for typical sandwich making materials. He's not doing anything particularly important. It's a good opportunity to bother him.]

ooc: Another blantantly ripped off idea from CFUD. This is a general interaction post, in case a character needs to interact. You don't even need a reason, although that ( Read more... )

[Look at that, sweets and things not to mention some cups sitting around. Caspian thinks about cleaning up, but the sangria in his near finished glass tells him to do it tomorrow.]

So, were you surprised?

[He asks belatedly, now that the house is much quieter.]

I was.

[He's picking up random cups, tossing them into a trash bag. A pretty sad attempt at cleaning up.]

I thought Lucy and the others would plan something, but I imagined something much smaller.

Well she was very excited to do this for you.

[Sip. Aw hell he helps Peter with the clean up.]

I'll have to thank her again for it later.

[Awesome. Only you can prevent forest fi- wrong slogan.]

[Tossing cups and things into the bag. The concept of disposable utensils is still a little odd to Caspian--oh damn.]

Zach kept a glass.

[He notices, only after finishing his own. Of course this one he doesn't throw away and sets on a table before opening the door for Peter. Presumably to take the trash out.]

We'll ask him for it back, later.

[Taking the open door! Much obliged, Caspian.]

[Closing the door behind them and following Peter out. It's much cooler outside and it makes his cheeks feel less warm.]

In Telmar they pierce the prince's ear on his seventeenth birthday. But I do not think I will do it.

[Rambling? Making small talk? Making this up?]

[That causes Peter to raise an eyebrow.]

You won't be continuing the tradition? It does sound rather odd.

[Maybe the third? What strange small talk, Caspian.]

[Just wait till he tells you about the 18th Year's Rite of Passage, Peter. On second thought Caspian just shrugs while lifting the lid to the garbage bin.]

It is a bit like a pirate, and I am tired of being mistaken for petty piracy.

[Does it involve hookers? Peter ties the bag neatly, before dropping it in.]

You do work on a pirate ship, Caspian.

[He won't mention the fact the Telmarines did descend from 'seafaring brigands'.]

[The proper term is a comfort woman, okay? He lets the lid fall after Peter's finished.]

I do not have to look the part.

[Caspian laughs, though looking anything like Barbossa kind of frightens him. The point is petty piracy!]

Come on.

[He takes a hold of Peter's wrist and starts leading him away over yonder.]

[That's just a euphemism!]

Where are you leading?

[This better not take too long. The family will be wondering what happened!]

[It sounds prettier than hooker. He's leading Peter into the dark where they can't be seen. Some trees help.]

Seventeen or thirty-two, Peter?

Thirty-two.

[No hesitation there. Peter's looking at Caspian expectantly; he could have asked that back at home.]

All right, thirty-two.

[Hands to his waist, up against a tree. No more hit and runs because he's been waiting all damn day. He presses his mouth to Peter's. Once... twice... Get the idea.]

[Thirty two was probably the better choice then? Peter's surprised at first, but he eventually gets the idea. He places his hands over Caspian, steering him in hopes of changing positions. Peter doesn't like being the tree'd one.]
