The List:
1. I'm no longer a working individual!!! WHOOHOOOOOOO!!!! Today was my last day at work. Considering all the work that I've put in, I'm more than pissed at the way they treated me for the past two weeks, or since I came back from Stamford. They were rude to me and one pretty much called me a stupid redneck since I'm from Alabama. Let me explain. We were joking around one night with some of the manniquins fake hair and one of the girls commented that one wig looked like a mullet. She then turned to me and said: "It must remind you of home, Sarah." Yes. Because everyone I know of in Alabama is a backwater hick with a mullet who lives in a trailer with their old man (or lady or cousin or brother or any other inbred combination thereof) who drives a pickup and has spare cars in their front yard. They think that just because I'm from Alabama, that automatically makes me an ignorant redneck. I was pissed! I was livid! I was THISCLOSE to walking out the effing door! But no, being the good lady that my momma raised me to be, I stuck it out and when I left today, I left with dignity and a huge effing smile on my face! Gah...that went longer than I thought it would.
2. Since this month marks the 60th year anniversary of my former workplace, they gave us all watches. It's nice. I'm now the proud owner of a Fossil watch with my former company's logo on it. But hey, it was free! And what better way to stick it to the man than taking the free stuff, right? LOL!
3. I'm going home on Saturday to spend a week with the parental units, both mine and the hubby's. Unforturnately, that means that the internet availibility will be next to nothing. However, I'll be bringing my laptop and will try to mooch off of others or at least at the airports. Flying with the hubby is always an adventure. This time, we'll be flying through Detroit. I've never been there, so I'll definitely have to pick up a souvie at the airport...maybe a t-shirt or something cheezy. LOL!
4. Woe...have no monies to play with anymore :(
5. Had a wonderful Christmas. Here's the rundown: Bones (Seasons 1 & 2), House season 3, Family Guy (Most recent season), Scrubs season 4, Digital Picture frame, Digital Picture frame keychain :D, Extra memory card for camera, Cute Ladybug stuffed animal, Jewelry armoire, and memory foam matress topper. The matress topper is my fave. I absolutely melt into the bed at night now. I definitely don't toss and turn as much :D
