Dear All,

Triumphed over cold. Proud to share. The nurses tell me I've been sleeping it off as of late, so apparently I've missed quite a bit - songs and such. So I've recovered. Finally. (And cursed too, it seems. Brilliant.)

Turkish Delights, anyone?

- Ed

neither sorted nor unsorted, rather sorted, oh curses

Dear Edmund,

A very kind offer but Turkish Delight was never one of my favorite candies I'm afraid.

Dear Captain Jack,

No worries. Might I interest you in biscuits instead? I am in a sharing mood.

Dear Edmund,

Biscuit are always delightful and I happen to have some of the best coffee in the City to enjoy them with. I would be more than happy to offer tea in exchange, however, if that would be more to your liking?

Dear Captain Jack,

I am not one much for coffee, but your offered substitute of tea would be appreciated in its stead. A trade-off then?

Biscuits and tea -- I look forward to it.

Dear Edmund,

Save for this slightly annoying curse, I am free most of the day today and could probably use a break from my schematic work. Biscuits and tea seem like a proper tea break to me, if you are interested?

Dear Captain Jack,

I cannot agree more. Where and when, exactly?

Dear Edmund,

How about Cafe Juliet in the center square of the City? I believe it's a nice enough day to be sitting out?

Jack had finished up the section of schematic he was working on and had then pulled himself together and headed down to the cafe.

He wasn't exactly bringing tea, figuring to buy it at the cafe in exchange for taking over one of their tables. Dressed in his habitual vintage clothing, he wore a waistcoat over his dress shirt today rather than braces, the RAF greatcoat swinging from his shoulders and the Webley strapped to his hip.

Not that he expected to need the gun it was just as much a habit to put on as the cufflinks in the morning.

Now, if you were Edmund Pevensie, what the heck would you look like?

If you were Edmund Pevensie, you'd be looking rather young with tousled hair that needed, and should really be cut, with an expression of boredom set smack, dead center, on your face. Edmund had another set of treats on the table he was at. Leftover from what he passed onto Badou. Palm to cheek as he sat in idle boredom, mouth shut, for once in his life.

Being cursed was annoying. It was inconvenient starting your sentences with a Dear.. and finishing with an Ed almost every single time. Edmund nearly groaned, thinking about it in full. It was ridiculous. The City would've been a fine place in all actuality were it not for the occasional curse or two.

Because really, when it came down to it, Edmund Pevensie really wasn't as polite as he looked.

(OOC: I'm so sorry this took a while! Ack! Been busy! x.x;)

Ed looked enough like Lucy or visa versa that Jack was fairly certain he had the right individual as he turned and headed in that direction.

"Edmund Pevensie?" He offered with a ready, outgoing smile.

[ooc: Tis all right, I'm afraid I've been gone most of today and am about to drop!]

Edmund inclined his head in curious wonder. First at the sound of his name, then at the person who spoke it. Well, Jack certainly didn't look very much like Edmund thought he might. In fact, Jack looked very old. On second thought, never mind that. It was just Edmund who looked very young.

He was going to greet him, as it was only polite, butinstead-- Ed sealed his mouth. Oh, curses. He was cursed today. Speech would've been embarrassing. So instead, he brought out the pen and paper. Edmund settled for writing it all out instead.

Dear Captain Jack,

Yes, I am. Good to meet you.
