Web page and mailing list question
Since I'm doing the whole microbusiness thing (is that even a word?) it seems like I should be thinking about having a mailing list and a website. (Not even an e-commerce site; I won't be approved to sell outside of MA *anyway*, so the main purpose of the website is to provide information about my next sales and available products for custom orders.) Unfortunately, that kind of straightforward minimalist hosting service does not appear to be trivial to find. Even if I end up settling for a kind friend, this is for a business, and I'd want to pay market rates... which would involve finding the darn market. Apparently nobody wants anything that minimal these days.
Does anyone have a reference, or know how much reasonable fees for a low-traffic (it had better be!) website and a moderated but easy-to-join mailing list would be?
