I'm back and ready to bitch a little
A few hours ago, Angela and I were psyched to go to a seminar on Chinese adoption. The agency hosting it comes pretty highly recommended to us. We got there and noticed nooooo other cars. The church was locked with no info at the door about the meeting. Right place, right time, but nope. After fifteen minutes, we gave up and went home in near silence. (We weren't pissed at each other, just for each other.)
The website had no cancellation notice. I left a phone message without being a dick, so hopefully they'll call back with an explanation. Maybe there was an emergency.
We just want to be parents. Anything that gets in the way of that reminds us how fucking old we feel.
On the upside, I gave blood at work today and got some cool stickers. It's been a few years, and I should start doing that regularly again. I think I'm O-.
