"Neville!” Charlie grinned, reaching out to shake his hand. “When they asked me to escort an Herbologist today I didn’t realize it would be you!”
“Professor Sprout wants some cuttings of Dragonberry Bush, harvested directly from Pasture Eighteen, if possible. I know it’s a dangerous proposition, with so many recent hatchlings.”
“Ah, the Welsh Greens…” Charlie ruminated thoughtfully. “Not the most exotic of creatures, but they do make excellent parents. They look after their young for several years, and will guard those offspring to the farthest extremity. It’s quite uncommon.”
“Not so much as you might think,” Neville replied quietly.
