“What signs? Where are they, anyway?”
“They’re in the rose garden. Please don’t upset her with this again.”
“I don’t mean to upset her. I’m just being realistic. Honestly, Franklin, how you two could decide to have a child in such dark times while doing Auror work is beyond me.”
“Alice felt the time was right and I trusted her. It's what we wanted, Mother.”
Augusta snorted. She had always made decisions based on facts not feelings. Alice and Frank had always yielded to temptation.
