When you're up until 4 a.m.
You might as well share the results of your labours, even if they are school-related. I had a presentation on Gendered Romanticism today, for which I was having a hard time thinking of anything interesting to say. So I decided to go with drawings instead. Here's what I came up with.
Here we have a Romantic woman. Outdoors, rational, and striving for independence!
She is nowhere near as attractive as this ideal Romantic man. He is experiencing things to write poetry about. If someone this attractive ever comes within three feet of me, I can make no promises.
You can't tell me that the term 'ideological cross-dressing' wasn't begging for this interpretation =3.
And of course, I think Romanticism and Emo are cousins. Mr. Darcy is emo like whoa. So I just drew an emo kid.
And that is all. I wish I could illustrate for projects more often.
Hmmm, I'm waiting on far too many things from various people on DoA right now. I don't like PMing constantly, but... I want my stuff, or I want reasons why my stuff is delayed yet again. Big sigh. Too much money in places that it will potentially be irretrievable. And omg, somebody needs to stop Leekeworld, they must be making heaps of dough off of shipping right now. I don't care how expensive shipping is getting, it can't possibly cost $40 to ship four wigs. Wigs are not that heavy. (Also discovered that someone I sold a wig to is now charging x2 what she paid for it, and the reason I sold it so cheap in the first place was because it didn't fit right >:{. What does one do about such things? I feel terrible about it.)
