I really liked this. I liked the slow build up, Damian's conniving ways, his assumption that Dick has a thing for Colin because of his fetish for red hair. The sex scene was totally in character. The bit with Jason and the postcard made me laugh, poor Timmy.

"He looks up to the rooftops to gain his bearings" This little line just struck me as so Bat-kin. He knows the city by rooftops and skylines, and looks up to get his bearings, rather than looking to the nearest corner sign. I love that. Just a little thing, but it fit.

Great fic overall, and good characterization. Thanks for posting!

This was so awesome it kept me up reading it last night for way too long. I really enjoyed your writing of Dick and Damian together. I especially liked how Damian forced Colin away because of Dick's "fetish". Poor Colin, he must have been so confused. Nicely done.

Haha, yeah, originally when I started the fic (back when I naively thought it would be maybe 2,000 words max, haha), it was really only about the strange mystery of Colin's exile. But it kind of got sidelined by the powers of dD, lol. In any case, thanks for reading!

This deserves more comments! You use wonderfully, beautifully descriptive and figurative language, and I think you portray Dick's issues with coming to grips with his new feelings for Damian very realistically. This was sweet and gorgeous and I loved it!

The fic only stretched to its current length because I wanted to build the relationship with some plausibility. Like I mentioned above, it was originally only planned to be 2-3,000 words, but I didn't want to rush, just for the sake of sexy times, lol. So I'm glad it was convincing for you. Thanks! :)
