[The ballroom feels much too large for two. So then a dance in the library doesn't seem so out of the ordinary... for the Pevensies at least. There are two on the network recording. And there are only two left. Susan is in an every day dress and Peter in his usual wear. The record playing must have been a gift.]

Not very many parties have waltzes. Slow dances, as I'm sure you know, but not a full waltz. I was worried I wouldn't be as good if I fell out of practice.

[Is it strange for siblings to dance with one another? It's not without a little coercion.]

I wish we could have had a party before everyone left. You know, like the ones at Cair Paravel. [Her brow furrows a little. Sometimes mentioning it is a reminder that they'll never quite have that again. Noticing that slight shift in expression, Peter leads her into a fluid and precise turn, their steps never off and one wonders if a waltz isn't a little like people claim riding a bicycle to be - unforgettable in muscle if not mind. Just like other things. Too much so, perhaps..]
