Whoever left these shoes for me forgot to leave a card when they left the box outside of my bedroom. Please come forward, I want to thank you! Surely it's a belated birthday gift, no harm in opening it without knowing from who...right? I think it would be far more rude to leave them there. Perhaps someone would think I didn't want them.

They are beautiful shade of red! I don't think I've ever seen such red shoes. I will have to find a dress to match them. It is very late, I shouldn't even be awake right now. I'll try them on tomorrow the first chance I get!
