It's so obvious that David Morrisey is replacing David Tennant now it isn't even funny anymore.

Enjoyed the Doctor Who scene, Morrisey would be a good Doctor(but not as good as Tennant or Tom Baker)
Watching the brilliant 'Blackpool' again with David Tennant as the cheeky lovable roguish DI Carlisle and David Morrisey as Ripley Holden.
Saw David Morrisey also unexpectedly in 'Our Mutual Friend', was watching it because Paul McGann was in it.
