[For Peter]

It's been an eventful past two weeks, and for once, Lionel's glad to get back to the monotony of island life. Which mostly means a return to spending hours with his cameras and pictures, sorting and categorizing, filing color and mood and tone away in his memory in case he'll need them. For what, Lionel's not sure, but there's something itching in the back of his mind. It's nothing like after the accident, when all Lionel could do was spend time in his dark room and put together what would become his collection, his emotions on display for the world to see. He just needs patience, something he's already intimately acquainted with.

Island life is spread out on half of the largest rec room table - dinosaurs, bodily changes, plays, weddings, babies, picture after picture of wide blue sky, glinting sand and green foliage. Every picture, even the ones with blurred ink from when the printer went a bit crazy, is worth more than a thousand words, and this is part of why Lionel loves what he does. Life, spread out on the table in front of him.

He smiles as he reaches for some of his newest pictures from Geoffrey and Duck's wedding. There were more than enough, and Lionel's had to pick and choose which ones to print, but there are still plenty. The pictures absorb his attention, so much so that he forgets he's in the rec room, his mind caught between Geoffrey and Duck on the beach as he sorts through the images, and his own private memories.

in-game, peter
