You needn't worry about raising it. Most do quite fine without their parents.

Then they are independent from birth? Are they all like that?

The ones I've seen hatched are.

Intriguing. These creatures are adaptive to the environment, even without their biological parents to teach them.

[Whatever these Pokemon are, they are definitely more intelligent than Ace gave them credit for originally.]

What kinds have you seen born?

Nothing like your Chikorita, although I have seen others of that same type.
