For whatever reasons mainly his lame typist Lleu still hasn't managed to rid himself of the iron thrall's bands around his throat and wrist. He is on the terrace lashing lathes of wood together for Arthur to practice with, but would easily wander off elsewhere given the right motive...

His typist is fine, thank you. Kay comes out of the mansion, cursing quietly under his breath. When he sees Lleu, however, he pulls himself back together. "Good day, lad."

Lleu gives him half a grin and half a salute. "Sir."

He sighs. "I do hope you don't feel the need to suddenly confess something."

[lionbright]

*blink and stare*

He shakes his head vehemently (much as the Wart might).

"God, no!" And then, defensively, "Anyway, I don't think I've done anything that warrants confession."

[unhappysteward]

"I'd hope not. Sorry. I've just had a rather...trying conversation, that's all. What are you up to?"

[lionbright]

"Trying to put something together for... for the king to practice with. He's not big enough to be armed."

and he'd brain himself.

"It's best. I was worried about him, dragging his own sword around that way. So you've been training with him?"

[lionbright]

"Only a little. But he--well, he just soaks it up. You can tell what he'll be."

[unhappysteward]

"He was always a bright lad," quieter, a bit gruff. "A bit of a dreamer, but even so."

[lionbright]

rather abruptly, he says, "I've run into Agravain."

[unhappysteward]

"Oh great. Do you have an Agravain, where you're from?"

[lionbright]

"Oh yes. He didn't know me, though."

[unhappysteward]

"Not something I'd complain about, personally."

[lionbright]

"Well, he still doesn't, and I'm not."

[unhappysteward]

"Good. Bit of an idiot, but the dangerous kind."
