1. Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) in "Grease" Danny and Sandy comprise of the first couple that comes to mind. Who can forget these two in 1950s high school days? The songs in this movie are classic and there has been a sing-along movie released filled with those upbeat tunes.
2. Romeo (Leonard Whiting) and Juliet (Olivia Hussey) in "Romeo and Juliet" This movie is one of the earlier adaptations of the William Shakespeare play and won Academy Awards for Best Costume Design and Best Cinematography. The tale of star-crossed lovers who struggle against the disputes of their families ends tragically, but finally stops the wars between the families. 
3. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in "Twilight" A normal teenage girl and a vampire brought this movie to life. This series of movies is based on Stephanie Meyer's extremely popular novels about the relationship between these two characters.
4. Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy (Zac Efron) in "High School Musical" These films combine the tribulations of high school life with exceptional, upbeat music. These teen movies have encouraged many high school students to audition for parts in one of the many musicals put on by high schools throughout the country. Hudgens and Efron had magic between them and ended up being involved in real life for a while.
5. Ronnie Miller (Miley Cyrus) and Will Blakelee (Liam Hemsworth) of "The Last Song" This movie is another example of actors who enjoyed their roles to the point where their romance continued to their lives off-screen. Nicholas Sparks was commissioned to write this movie especially for Cyrus and it showed young people falling in love.
6. Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald), Blane McDonough (Andrew McCarthy), and Phil "Duckie" Dale (Jon Cryer) in "Pretty In Pink" This 1986 film was an example of teenage love across class lines. Andie was from the wrong side of the tracks, she had a crush on Blane, a rich boy. Duckie was in love with Andie, but acts like it is a joke.
7. Juno (Ellen Page) and Paulie (Michael Cera) in "Juno" This drama-comedy won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Best Actress for Page. High school teenager Juno copes with an unplanned pregnancy. She decides to give her child, fathered by her long-time admirer Paulie, up for adoption. After debating on whether to keep the child, she does go through with the adoption even though the couple eventually gets back together. 
8. Steve Bolander (Ron Howard), Curt Henderson (Richard Dreyfuss), Laurie Henderson (Cindy Williams) and others in "American Graffiti" In 1973, this teen movie classic featured high school seniors who spend a late summer night trying to decide what to do on the eve of their adulthood. Stay with their gals?  Go to college?
9. A princess (Molly Ringwald), a brain (Anthony Michael Hall), an athlete (Emilio Estevez), a basket case (Ally Sheedy) and a criminal (Judd Nelson) in "The Breakfast Club" Released in 1985, it is said by some to be the best high school teen movie of all time.
10. Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore) and Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) in "Tangled"  This very successful Disney animated film was based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Rapunzel" and was the most expensive animated film ever made with its budget reaching $260 million. A lovable thief, Flynn, used Rapunzel's tower as a hideout after stealing the princess' tiara. These two have adventures, eventually marry and live happily ever after.
