For UK fans

Hello. So i have booked tickets to the midnight showing of New Moon on Thursday night, I'm going to a Vue cinema. Anyway i have a problem. Vue have now made the Midnight Showings 'Over 18's only' (WTF?!) and i checked the website and all Midnight Showings across the UK are now 'Over 18's only' however me and my friends are only 17, when i booked ( Read more... )

I doubt they'll be checking all those IDs with as many people as they have going.

That's very strange.

Don't know what they're going to do about that. Because it wasn't on the website at the time you booked your tickets, they should let you in. I'd ask someone that works there?

I'm pretty sure it has always been over 18s only for shows after 10.30pm, check all the other movies they all have stars as well.
Best thing to do is to call and speak to the manager, discuss it with them.

yeh i agree, i'm sure its always said its over 18's.

Ticket Terms & Conditions:

11. Photographic identification (e.g. driving licence or passport) shall be required for entry into 12A, 15 and 18 certificated films. Performances starting at or after 10.30pm are strictly for those aged 18 and over (regardless of a film’s certificate) and photographic identification will be required.

They are pretty strict with stuff like this at the moment. It's been over 18 for any film that runs past midnight since the summer apparently. Thank fuck I'm 23!
