I live in Sweden. Recently, I found that all three published books of the series have been released here in Swedish. But, rather than keeping the titles given to the novels by SMeyer, they'd been given other titles. Not translated straight off ones either. I was wondering if we are the only country to have done this and if not, what the titles of the books are in your language.
For us, it's;
Twilight - Om jag kunde drömma; If I could dream. (See 'If I could dream at all it would be about you.')
New Moon - När jag hör din röst; When I hear your voice. (See Bike riding and cliff diving.)
Eclipse - Ljudet av ditt hjärta; The sound of your heart[beat]. (See Bella's mortality.)
All the Swedish titles say a whole lot more about specific points in the story than the original titles - but they also make much less sense until you've actually read them and frankly, they don't make the books sound even half as interesting as they are.
And don't get me started on how awful the long titles look on the pretty covers (which are all the same).
So, anyone?

books: eclipse,
discussion: book,
