It is with great regret that I must forfeit my position of Flying Instructor and Head of Gryffindor House and tend my resignation.
It has been my pleasure and my honour to teach at Hogwarts. If I may suggest a replacement for Head of House, I would highly recommend William Weasley.
Minerva -- you have been a mother figure to me. A good friend. A respected colleague. If you need anything from me, you have only to ask.
Severus -- I'm sorry that we did not see eye to eye often. We've had our differences, but you are a devoted Head of House and Deputy Headmaster. And yes -- you are brilliant in your field. I wish you luck and good fortune.
