So it's been awhile since I've written anything.
The election is done with. David's trial was dismissed due to "no cause of action," appeals court affirmed the trial court's decision 6-5, and the Supreme Court ruled against him 2-5. I know it's a sensitive nature, given the timing and such of elections, but there was a pretty good case that just got cast aside repeatedly. Nature of the beast, I guess.
Thanksgiving is next week. It's crazy how time flies. I've almost been at my job for a year. My dad's company got bought. He'll retire before he is 50 - wow.
Work is busy. I'm busy with a variety of other things. Going to work a jury focus group on Monday, should be interesting. Luckily we don't have anything going on in the office the rest of the week. Thinking about taking a trip home, but sort of wanting to stick around here. Even though Dad offered to fly me in.
Saw American Gangster tonight. Pretty good flick. Been watching Big Love via Netflix. Recently purchased some books I want to read.
