(no subject)
So I went to work yesterday then left for a doc's appt at 1. Strep it is. I've now been banned from the office until the earliest Wednesday. I have been cooped up in the house since Thursday evening. I am going stir crazy. But no one wants to hang out with me 'cause I've got the strep. So lame. But I understand. Today I slept in, tried to aide my coworker in juggling my job in my absence, got some lunch, then sat out by the pool for awhile. Tonight I'm going to see Foo Fighters. i could deal with missing Live and Collective Soul, but not the Foos! They were one of the best shows I've ever seen - back in, I think, 2000 when they opened for RHCP.
I'm feeling fine as long as I'm medicated, taking my antibiotics and anxious to be social and back at work. ARGH.
