We'll rise above the scarlet tide...
Happy 2 days after Christmas! I hope everyone out there got all of those wonderful things that they all wanted!
I got all the typical stuff... clothes blah blah blah, and i got my digital camera. Did make me oh so happy. I am never gonna stop taking pictures now. Holla.
So yeah... we did the typical christmas where we opened gifts at our house then went to fredericksburg to open gifts and my grandparents. BUT THEN in our new tradition, me and Kyle and madison, and this year Allie and Justin joined us, went to see "It's a Wonderful Life at the Byrd" and of course it was beautiful! We got to sit in the balcony which for me was exciting b/c they usually have that closed off. But yes... i said all the lines I knew and it was grand. Before the movie Organ played Bob had a Christmas sing along. Bob is a true rock a rool'er. Holla Bob.
And yesterday... nothing too exciting. My family went to see "National Treasure" which was surprisingly good. Nicholas Cage is delightfully goofy and i liked it. After that my mom wanted to go to Target... Target was a living hell. I never want to go shopping on the day after Christmas again. It may have been one of the worst ideas EVER. Wanted to kill myself. And the best part was... Jason is obsessed with the game "The Sims" SO yeah... in the game, people get in the hot tub naked. Of course they blur it out so you can't see, but thats not the point. Anyways, we're in the store which is packed beyond all belief and he asks as loud as he can "Lindsay, would you ever get into a hot tub naked?" Yeah... we got a few weird looks...
Last night all i did was watch "Arrested Development" (BECAUSE IT IS AMAZING!) and then basically did nothing. My mom wouldn't let me go out last night. Grrr.
well i'm off... i think i'm going to make someone see "The Aviator" with me today. So long!
