Most fun EVER!
So I have this new game I'm sure you'll all excited to play, it's called "math problems lindsey is struggling with via lj."
Here's how you play:
1. Lindsey lj's a problem that she's stuck on.
2. You comment an answer/tips/WHY I'M NOT GETTING IT.
It's super fun.
problem 1:
Write the expression in factored form involving only one trigonometrc function:
2sinx-2-cos^2x (written exactly as so, nothing on other side)
What I want to do:
y=2sinx-2-cos^2x
y-1=2sinx-2-(cos^2x-1)
y-1=2sinx-2-(-sin^2x)
y-1=2sinx-2+sin^2x
y= sin^2x-2sinx+1
y=(sin-1)^2
Wait, I may have gotten it then, cuz I didn't have that when I started typing, but it feels wrong... is that right? There will be more coming if I can't get something again.
