Strawberry ice cream something
This weekend past was absolutely wonderful. I had such a great time. On Saturday, we headed down to Parrsboro for Amber and Charles' wedding. It was sweet. Amber looked beautiful, and Charles looked scared and very happy. Hee! I loved it. The rain held off for the ceremony and pictures, and then started to come down, but even then, it wasn't so bad. I got to meet the "scary" grandma, and as it turns out, she's not so bad, but then again, maybe she was just in a good mood for the wedding. Who knows. The reception was a fun time, Justin and I did alot of driving around and stuff though, picking people up, dropping stuff off, you know. We stayed in a little cottage with Zach, Nathan and Angela. The next day we had to take stuff down at the hall, and then went to watch the Lewises (hahahaha) open their gifts. On the way there, Justin took me to a waterfall, it was beautiful, hurray!...I took lots of great pictures of everything, I can't wait to get them back. *sigh*
Well, our little Jenny is finally home. She got back on Monday night, and Justin, Sean and I went to visit her. She hasn't changed a bit, which I love...not that I really thought she would or anything, but yeah. It's weird, when I saw her, it was like she hadn't been away at all...which was kinda scary, but, at the same time, not so much. Nicole ended up dropping in, and so did Amanda, Lisette and Nickie. It was neat. Hahaha
Anyhoo, last night, Nicole, Jenny, Keelie and I went to Jen's for a few drinks and some chats, then headed over to Cinders to visit Angela...and proceeded to drink some more. By the end of the night, (4 o'clock) I was loaded, and very tired. It was nice times.
The family (sans mom and I) are in Winnipeg. They left a week and a half ago, and come back next Friday. It has been really quiet around here. Mom and I are re-doing Tom's and the girls' rooms to surprise them when they get back, so that's neat. The past two days have been spent stripping furniture. Whoo hoo!
Acting weird again. Why? I don't know....still kind of sticking with the exhaustion theory, but it still sucks. We went to Amanda's tonight for a little birthday shindig, and he was so quiet the entire time, he just kinda sat there looking miserable. Even Jen noticed that he doesn't seem to be acting himself. Ever since Monday. I don't know what's up...and then, when he is asked if something is wrong or if something is bothering him, he gets mad. I only ask because I care, and want to make things better for him. That's why I am here. Maybe I just fabricate stuff in my mind. At least, I hope that's all it is. hm. I don't know, I'll just give it time.
Who is the Tragically Hip kidding? Maybe they should frig off and tour places other than Ontario in the month of July alone. What the hell.
Soooo excited for the presents to come in. Ordered them yesterday and today. I hope he likes 'em. Whooot
I am tired.
