Love From Michigan!

Hello everyone, I'm currently in Michigan staying with my best friend, Kelly, who has been my best friend since kindergarden. I think it's funny that my elementary friendships seem to be stronger and last longer than any friendship I've made in high school. I've only been here 2 days and I'm already having an awesome time. Last night and today, I hung out with ppl that I have never hung out with before and haven't talked to since 8th grade and felt more of a connection with them than with some of the ppl I've hung out with lots of times in Florida. I wish I could stay here. I just feel like this is where I belong. I want to graduate from West with all of my friends, I want to go to U of M and that isn't an option if I live in Florida cuz out of state tuition is too much, I want to become a teacher up here, I want to live my life here, I want to have a family and grow old where I grew up here. I guess coming up here made me realize that even though Florida is where I live, my true home is Michigan and it is where my heart will always be. I don't want to leave, Friday is going to come all too soon and I will have to go "home" and graduate from stupid Celebration and go to a school in state and prolly end up living there for awhile and if I get a life started down there I may never find a good opportunity to leave and go back home. Well, time to go savor every precious moment I have here. *Sigh*
