My Stupid Mouth....
Thing I said tonight that I shouldn't have:
[To Sarah in front of nice Mary Kay Lady at KD house during Panhellenic progressive party]
"And those atrocious green curtains we have hanging up? We want to take them down but we have this alum who made them and loves them and won't let us take them down."
Note- I missed meeting last week. In which they told us that the Mary Kay reps. would all be KD alums.
The nice Mary Kay Lady is definitely the one who made the curtains and won't let us take them down. I realized this right after I said it. Then I banged my head against the wall.
Thing I should have said tonight but didn't:
[To my roomie who was whispering less than kind stuff about me to her friend in our room while she thought I was sleeping]
"I CAN HEAR YOU."
Then I restrained myself from banging her head against the wall. In hope of knocking brains into her head in the process. But I decided that that would be too kind, the giving her brains and all. Hence the restraint.
Note- I honestly don't care what she says about or what she says to other people about me (Lord knows I say less than kind stuff about her).
Ok, now that I vented, please don't think I'm cruel. My roomie is a sweet person. Just a bit immature and waaaay different than me and someone I cannot live with. And if y'all know me, then y'all know that there isn't much that I can't tolerate. She just crosses that line a little too often for my taste.
Then I went to Sarah's room for a bit (told you I was popping into her nook!) and said many things that I both wanted to and, in fact, did say. 0 for 3 ain't too bad in the grand scheme =)
Allow me to say again that I have the greatest friends alive. At the Pan party tonight, 2 of them said very wonderful things and shared very wonderful things from others that 1) humbled me greatly 2) made me VERY sad about leaving them and my other beautiful friends and KD sisters and 3) made me melt all over the floor. Then Lindsey-the-Puddle swished to the table and ate more fondue. Great fun.
