that's us

I got offline about twenty minutes ago to get ready for bed and go to sleep. Something came to my mind that I'd been thinking about earlier, and I decided I had to write about it.

While I was waiting for Jenny to finish reviewing for English after school, I was by myself in the Activities office looking at the 2003 DVD... it might have been for the yearbook. Anyways, there were reminiscent "music videos" of the class of '03. While watching it, I was thinking to myself, "The class of '03 was the best class ever." I saw many familiar faces... not necessarily even people that I knew, but just people that I knew of. It was people like Lev, Paul, Mark O'H, Eva, etc. I was thinking what awesome people they all were, etc, etc.

After thinking for a while, I made the realization that they are us. Those were the kids who many people, like underclassmen, knew of because they were everywhere. They were fun, friendly, and actually connected with Churchill events/activities. Rose once said something about how her brother's group of friends is like the same as hers and if they had been in each others' grade, they'd be hanging out with the same people. It's so true. I can look at Ben, Bryan, and Pat for example and imagine that 2 years from now, someone will look at them and the rest of us, and think they were so sweet.

I also came to the conclusion that we need to make some movies. That year, they made good use of the video camera. We need to get on that. Jenny and I decided that the week of Sadie Hawkins shall be deemed movie-making week. Even just watching people from other classes in those videos makes me happy. I want to be able to see us like that in a few years.

Heck, I'd love to watch us on video right now.

Just look at the title of my FRIENDS page.
