I am always close to one love but longing for another.

I just finished two essays, working on another for a group presentation, and fixing another for a final paper! Shit thats a lot of writing... get into it... its all about amazing topics that I'm really into but its hard for me to find my voice because I want to do something neat.
One of our groups is proposing and idea for sustainable farming. California is a great example of people actually making this idea work. We've found so much research it's ridiculous.
My other essay is basically a beginning of a book in my literature class of nature and place. I basically get to talk about my second home-town Lummi Island and tell all the crazy stories of my relatives. Sweet! My classes are really pushing me to be creative and thoughtful and although it can be tough and stressfull at times, I love it!

I can't believe I registar today! It will be nice to start some new classes.

Boom! So I have to update about by past couple of weekends because they have been killer! I've had such an amazing ride.

Have a mentioned what a surprise Valentine's Day was? Let's just say I have the best boyfriend ever... I can't believe everything still feels so new. We went to Fino's, a super nice place down in Fairhaven and it took my breath away.
I also got a wonderful card from my grandma and mother. I miss my fam. so much!

Last Friday Eric, Aaron, Jeff and I all car-pooled up to Ground Zero in Bellvue to see Set Your Goals, Get the Most, The Helm, and Go it Alone play a cool show. SYG's are seriosly some of the nicest guys ever. When we were leaving, after we had hung out, I gave one of the singers a hug... because I'm weird... but he likes hugs so I guess its all good. It was just kind of spur of the moment, hope he didn't find it creepy :)
Anyway, I have so much fun hanging out with those guys. Afterward we gorged ourselves at I love Sushi, this cute Sushi bar in Seattle that's absolutley delicious.
So last week, out band practiced a lot to get ready for the big show we had in Seattle with Good Clean Fun. On Saturday I couldn't do anything... I was so nervous for our show. Yossarian never got the opportunity to play in Seattle so this was big for us. The Vera Project is so cool and the people that work there are so nice. I've never been backstage there before and its hella tight and they gave us food... shit. I have to say it was probably one of the best shows we have ever play! We were so tight and together and just had a really good energy! Totally pumped!!! My self-confidence skyrocketed after that. We were lucky enough to get out Dragline shirts before that show too. Man, I've recorded a demo, played in Seattle and have a shirt for our band! My dream is complete! Shookones played after us and their set was tight because they covered my favorite Sunny Day Realestate song "Seven" and about peed by pants I was so excited!

Sunday night I went to see Pretty Girls Makes Graves at the Nighlight. I'm so lucky I was able to go and hanging out with Aaron, David, Zach, and Becka was so FUN! They played a really good set, I still can't believe how good they sound live. A lot of people I knew were there and nobody recoginized me because I was wearing lipstick... how cool is that!
Getting a little tipsy and dancing was just what I needed.

Having Monday off was so wonderful. I really needed it to feel up to par and catch up on a lot of shit for the week. I wish I had a three-day weekend every weekend. Monday night Eric and I met up with Lauren, David and Aaron for some Horse Shoe action. That place isn't so bad without the smoke and it was fun to hang out with some different people.
Eric and I are trying to plan a trip to San Fransico for Spring Break. I've never actually stayed there long enough to enjoy the city so I'm super pumped to go exploring with the best person ever!
