It's been nice being home for a short-while. Tomorrow I go back up to Bellingham to celebrate New Year's.
Hope everyone had a great holiday because I know mine was. Its gone by so fast. I brought home all of these projects to finish and things to do in my spare time or in case I got bored and I haven't touched any of it! X-mas Eve and X-mas were both fun. There was lots of hanging out with my older sister... going to do last minute shopping, baking cookies really late at night, playing games of yahtzee with my sibs and watching the JEM movie (so cheezy).

Our house was an open door on Christmas Eve and lots of people stopped by like Eric, my cousins Jeff and Grant, Jen's boy Matt, and Jayme, who all came at different times! It meant so much to me that my boy came down for a few, to spend some of the holiday season with me and my family (oh and watch Seattle Seahawks win)!

The next day our family sat down and had a big breakfast together, a fist in a long time. Later we did the whole stockings/santa's gift thing. I think my siblings really liked their gifts this year which is great because they mean so much to me. FOr dinner we went out to my AUnt and Uncles who we haven't seen in ages because they were living on the east cost for awhile. Besides them living out in the middle of nowhere its always great to have a big family christmas with cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and friends. I wouldn't have it any other way! Also after desert we all got around the table and played a furious game of Yahtzee. <3 to Jen.

Man, my 'lil bro and I went jogging around are neighborhood and it was awesome. We were talking the whole time about crazy coaches and tips for stuff. It was a good bond and it really motivated me to keep doing it this week and I feel great! Its such an endorphin bosster ans stress buster that hopefully I can keep this up when I go back to school.
I don't want to gush too mcuh but my bro turned out to be such a caring and cool person. I love him so much!
Later that day we tried to see a movie at the new movie theatres in Lacey but everything was sold out! So instead we went to the independent one in Yelm after I made fajitas. We saw the Chronicles of Narnia and it was fuck'n sweet. I've only read the 1st book when I was younger but seeing the movie made me really want to read all of them again and rent to PBS version of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Wednesday I spend mostly downtown Oly as I met up with some OLD friends from highschool. It was sort of weird but nice at the same time. Afterward we spend all night talking and catching up because we are really bad at this 'stayin in touch; thing. Oh well, it was cool that I got them to watch A.D. with me which they like now but too bad its cancelled at the end of the season.

Yesterday was busy with doing last minute errands and being all nervous and excited because my parents finally met Eric's parents and everything went Fantastic! We met at Mudd Bay cafe which was a nice, cute resturant. They got along so well, which I knew they would, but what surprised me is how much in common they all shared. I'm still giddy and happy from the event and seeing Eric!

I've really enjoyed all the freedom of being home even though some of the privacy isn't there, that I'm kind of sad to be leaving soon. But I always get like this and it will be to see Eric and friends back up in B'ham. It was just nice to be able to do whatever I wanted whenever because I had the freedom to take myself places and make plans with people and me them without realying on other people and their shcedules and feelings (no offense). I just wish I could have that in Bellingham. I guess I feel like I'm hypersensitive these days and it Bellingham I almost lose it metally and pysically and then I come back home and regroup and become grounded again. I learn so much about myself by just being myself, ya know?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to all the upcoming Dragline shows. And keep an eye out for out new demo. Here are some of our shows. If you can make it to any, please go!

Julie
