You Are Smarter Than You Appear.

This weekend was crazy. I had planned on going home a while ago but then things got complicated with finding a ride down to Oly, so I cancelled them. My mom calls me Friday morning and leaves a message saying she is at Lummie Island visiting Uncle Jake and Aunt Mary and that she will pick me up after school!? What??? I was so angry for a second but everything worked out.
I was a little bummed because I missed Localpalooza (which I heard went o.k.) and Melissa/Ben's 80's B-day bash (which I heard got busted? bummer).

What I really wanted to do this weekend was try and get everyone to go to a pumpkin patch but it didn't really work out anyway, so while I was home, I went with my siblings to the local store and we got three big pumpkins. Kyle and I got out patterns on-line. The pumpkins were a pirate flag, witch, and a louzy raccoon :( My raccoon didn't show up very well so on the other side I carved the Kool-Aid man which turned out waaaaayyy better!!!

This was the first that I went home and didn't get to hang out with my older sister because she lives in the 206 area now... it was very strange.
Basically all I did was help my parents put up Halloween decorations and our house looks so good! I've always loved this holiday and my parents always really get into it so it makes it even more fun. I think its one of my favorite holidays because it helps spark my imagination and lets me daydream. I think I decided what I'm going to be for Halloween; its pretty simple and easy but its all I could come up with; Louis from family guy. All I need is a red wig and a teal button down shirt because I pretty much have everything else. Sweet! I think I like other people's costumes ideas better (ie. Eric= Bob Ross= Hot) but mine will grow on me.

My 'lil bro gave me one of his homecoming pictures. They turned out so well and I can't believe how handsome he looks in a tux. (this was his very first formal dance).
Eric and I made him some mix CD's because I thought it was time he listen to some good music :) So far he's really enjoyed them and I think it meant something to him that I thought of him when I went home.

Sunday I met up with Eric in Seattle to see a wicked show including: Shookone's, The Answer, Where Eagles Dare, and two vegan straight-edge bands who had a lot of good things to say. There were also special experiances by Rat Trap and Stop at Nothing. SHit, it was such a great and fun show, I'm really glad I went.

Other than that nothing really new has been going on in my life except trying to stay afloat and alive in my classes.
I've been kind of stress'n about our band's name. I know its not that big of deal but we haven't come up with anything yet or the ones we liked have been already taken. I'm just concerned because we have several shows in the following weeks and my brainstorming has been a little off. We'll see, We'll see.

Peace!
Jules
