I can't believe I didn't talk about my Loa Ladies night last weekend! Let me tell you it was a blast and but it is such a relief to be over! There were a good amount of kids there, nothing special. Visqueen has to be one of the nicest bands I have ever met. They need to take their comedy act on the roade. They really made me feel good about putting on this show and gave me the confidence to do more. Thanks for everyone's support and help, especially the bands, Joey-O and Eric!
I don't remember much of last week except I missed going out to the bars for Aaron's b-day because I had to study for a math exam... which I PASSED... but need two more points to pass the class (or at least pass the final). I think I'm going to go in and talk to my prof. but he's kind of a hard ass. (please somebody help me get these two points!)
Splooge, so anyway the weekend was a blur! Friday I got out early and went to go look at a 3-bedroom townhouse thats close to fairhaven. Really cute and pretty cheap but I don't know if my roomies will like it and they are thinking about adding on another roommate that I don't really feel comfortable about. Not only that but I've put so much time and effort into finding a nice 3-bed appartment and then to have them go change there mind?! I'm losing motivation here people. All I know is if they add another person they need to start pulling their weight in looking for a place to stay!!!
After that it was pretty awesome day! We got lunch at the Mt Bakery that had the most fresh/organic food I've ever tasted. Then we went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, which I haven't been to since I was really little. We picked the best day to go because it was about 90 degrees outside and all of the animals were really active. They had a cool butterfly garden too, that was so mystical having all these insects fluttering around you. I will have to post pictures later. Afterwards was the Shookones show. It wa really good to see everyone and it was really nice that the Paradox has air conditioning. Besides a lame-ass fight that broke out, everything was really fun.
We chilled over at Eric's the next day and got to visit with his folks who just returned from Italy! They have to be the nicest family I have ever met.. they deserve everything good that happens to them. Anyhow, when we came back up to Bellingham we watched a strange animee flick called "Appleseed". I really enjoyed it and the new 3-D version kicks ass.
Sunday a bunch of us strolled into Richmond Sushi. That place is heaven to eat at. I enjoy those memories up there more than anything because the bonding experience with everyone.
Monday was a pretty lazy day. Called my family and to see how Jen was doing because it was her birthday Saturday! YEAH!
I even declutterd my room and got some homework done but now school is back in session, for only two more weeks!!! I hope I can hold out!
Hope everyone had a wonderful memorial day weekend!
Peace-
Jules
